A site that had been used as a builder’s yard, sawmill, riding stables and general dealers yard had fallen into disrepair after 100 years of family use. 

Iain drafted many of the reports required and co-ordinated the specialist reports for a planning application to create a small housing development on the site successfully obtaining planning permission.  The application had to consider restricted access, restricted services, listed buildings, tree preservation orders, close proximity to neighbours, protected species and contaminated land.

Iain then went on to sell the land to Wilson designer Homes through his local contacts.  The site is now in the process of being developed.  Holden Mews will create 5 family homes within a carefully thought out layout with views across to the South Downs.  The properties are nearing completion and were launched on 16th March 2019 with an open day.
