We provide RICS Red Book Valuations to enable executors to submit the appropriate forms to obtain probate and allocate the proceeds of an estate. Sometimes executors will want to understand or explore the development value of a site, so planning advice can be provided too.

We often provide valuations for solicitors when they are assisting or acting as executors or in divorce cases. We also provide Expert Witness Valuation Reports for property litigation and negligence cases. These have included the impact on value of breaches of restrictive covenants and the impact on value of access rights.

RICS Red Book Valuations are used by land owners when considering project feasibility, on the death of the owner or for other tax matters such as Potentially Exempt Transfers and Capital Gains Tax. Whether it is to diversify the income streams of the business, construct infrastructure for the existing business or create capital value, the valuations, planning services and straightforward advice we offer are invaluable to our landowning clients, as is the facilitation of strategic planning exercises.

Charities are obliged to have a Surveyor’s Report undertaken by an appropriately qualified and experienced Chartered Surveyor.

We can provide these as well as advising Charities on how best to manage their estate to enable their charitable objectives to be met.
